you know those places that are so breathtakingly beautiful they leave you in awe?
that's exactly how we felt about the keramas.
we sat speechless in soft white sand, staring at jagged island formations jutting out from perfect turquoise water, in total awe of God's amazing creation.
the island chain is the one we see from our balcony and only a 50 minute speedboat ride away.
of 26 islands there's only 3 that are lived on.
so,
right after we pulled into the port on zamami island, we chose the cheapest place to stay in the little village on ama beach, dropped off our stuff and then a fisherman took us out to one of the surrounding uninhabited islands for a couple hundred yen (a couple dollars).
