Sakura Sakura

The first Sakura {cherry blossom} festival of the year happened here this weekend. Absolutely beautiful. They’re the first ones to bloom in all of Japan and the US. We went to the festival every year when we were living in DC, so it’s even more special now to see the originals while actually experiencing the relationship between our two countries.

Hope you all had a great weekend! xo

The cherry blossoms are gorgeous! It's funny that they bloom this time of year. My bff living in Oki says its pretty darn chilly!

We went to the festival as well, and it was great. I can't wait to go to more as the season progresses and watch the flowers bloom even more.

Wasn't the sunset something else on Saturday? WOW.

I love cherry blossoms and it always reminds me of the movie Memoirs of a Geisha.

Your photos are stunning. I am looking for a course to do so that I can improve my photography because they tell a story as much as the words or if the old adage is to be believed a thousand words…..
