{battered & fried fish. ohh. yes.}
{Camilyn Beth Swagg all the way in Japan!}
I've probably already said this about 100 times on here, but fishing is a major industry on this island. Just about every one of our neighbors is a fisherman.. and you can get fresh fish any day of the week. Hooray.
For us, if it's not husband-caught or eating out, we go up the road to our neighborhood port and buy the catch of the day.
So, we eat a lot of fish.
Guess what I made for din tonight? (:

One of my favorite things I did in Japan was go to the morning tokyo fish market, so much seafood everywhere! A little jealous you can go whenever you want ;)

You on that scooter.... ADORABLE! <3
ReplyDeleteJapan seems like an awesome place. I hope I get to visit it some day and of course try some of the fish.....
ReplyDeleteOh gracious, I would be up a creek... I have never really enjoyed fish. Maybe the fresh kind where people know how to cook it really well would be better?? I guess all the pretty views would make up for my starvation.
ReplyDeleteI loved having fresh fish in Kuwait - I miss that now that I am back in the Midwest. Fun for you guys and so healthy!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of the scooter! And the fresh fish! What an experience you are living :)

What a great way to spend the day! Fresh seafood is the best... I'm originally from California and miss the fresh and abundant supply of fish. Now I live in the Netherlands and it's a much more meat and potatoes kind of culture...
