I get excited to find different fabrics, colors & textures to wear.. at good prices.
It turns the daily getting dressed into another creative outlet that can definitely be done inexpensively.
Ikat is an age-old pattern that seems to be everywhere right now..
I have been loving it and this morning bought one of you a skirt made out of it (:
It has adjustable straps to fit a size 2 to about a size 8 and can be worn lower on the waist
or on the hips like I have it.
If you'd like to have this pretty little skirt, simply leave a comment.

Very cute skirt!
ReplyDeleteI've been living on the east coast for about 9 months now, and the thrift stores here are great. I'm also an intermediate sewer, so for me, the best way to expand my wardrobe in an inexpensive, creative way is to thrift and refashion!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I pinned this. Too cute not to :)

ps sorry for the typos and double comments, I bought a Mac yesterday and am still getting used to the new keyboard :/
My go to way to spice up any outfit is a scarf, I love that they can be worn so many different ways and can make a normally boring outfit pop :)

I've been hunting for the perfect ikat print dress or skirt and this one is adorable! I love bargains, too. I used to sew some of my own clothes because my mom taught me when I was young. Thrift stores and hand-me-downs are great for finding treasures like this skirt as well! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute skirt. I love thrift shopping for wardrobe ideas. I always have the best luck finding clothes.
