And of course sea-inspired!
it's fun to have since we live in a fishing village + these oars are used in karate.. and karate originated on this island.
One of the million things I love about Cameron is that he is such a talented builder. All I have to do is show him a photo or example of what I have in mind and then stand back and watch him make it, with his own creative touch to it. The bedside table & ladder he made are my favorite parts about this little room.
Our Pottery Barn stool on the right was my inspiration for the bedside table.
Cam made it wider to fit our lamp with a butcher block top + we added sea foam green for some color.

I LOVE it! Everything in it is so thoughtful and personal and blends so well together.
ReplyDeleteThe book ladder is my favorite, you have one talented husband on your hands :)

ReplyDeleteNevermind the sea-theme -- I think Pride and Prejudice deserves the top spot on that ladder!! :) Or maybe Jane Eyre. You pick. Okay - I need to go home and FINALLY hang pictures in our guest room (it's only been 3 1/2 years right??) as well as de-clutter it. Way to keep me accountable Marshall.
