If you're coming over for the first time from Jenni's beautiful & engaging blog, Story of My Life
welcome! (:
{My Husband and I}
I'm from Southern Cali & my love from Colorado
but we met + fell in love in Annapolis, wed on a vineyard in North Carolina & lived in D.C.
I was a journalist who left my job to move with my handsome Marine...
to the other side of the world.. where we're so thankful to have our home on the East China Sea
on the subtropical island of Okinawa, Japan. It's our home for the next few years or until the Marine Corps tells us otherwise!
{We love traveling together & having the opportunity to see Asia..}
{exploring the island...}
{cooking in our tiny kitchen...}
{decorating & building things together for our home...}
{... riding our scoot}
{and being madly in love.}
We are so so grateful to get to live in such a fascinating part of the world together, travel, experience God's AMAZING blessings undeservedly in this season of life.. and share it with you!
Thanks for letting us!

Gosh but you two are cute.....

ReplyDeleteYour life and love story is amazing! Thanks for sharing. You know they say fairytales aren’t real, but when I read a story like that, it reminds me that while we may not actually be princesses, we still deserve a happy ending!
ReplyDeleteSERIOUSLY SO LOVELY! It's like watching a Nicolas Spark book come to life (without the dramatic, tragic parts of course!)! :)
ReplyDeleteI came over here from Jenni's blog and was literally giggling over your love story. Absolutely sweet. I love how the Lord literally has such amazing plans for us. Can't wait to see what else you write about in the future!

ReplyDeletethanks for the recap, Marshall.
ReplyDeleteI feel like we here at work got short shrift with the scant "I was a journalist who left my job..."
You didn't just leave your job... you left your co-workers who depended on you to make them laugh daily with Anchorman quotes via topline.
You left your co-workers who depended on you to occasionally fill the cookie jar with treats from Trader Joe's and chocolate eclair cake.
You left one co-worker in particular who appreciated daily walks/picnics by the Capitol or roof excursions for fresh air.
Needless to say ... I MISS YOU! :) And yes I realize Cammy is a worthwhile cause but you left more than just a job. Just sayin' (that may have come across way more sassy then I actually meant it :) LOVE YOU BOTH! lanneybear
My friend pointed me in the direction of your wonderful blog for the fact that I also live in Okinawa. And i love it! You two are so cute! You are such a great photographer, your pictures are amazing. Im looking forward to reading more of your advetures! :D
