Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Goat Cheese. These are a few of my favorite things

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Last night we cooked a 10 lb tuna Cam caught. It was so delicious our dinner conversation only had one word. Repeated. "Mmmmm."

Today, it got even better atop my salad.

I am a salad lover. Through and through. Cam is getting closer to becoming one.

This salad was simple but amazingly flavorful, with only a few ingredients:
cherry tomatoes
goat cheese
breaded fish
salad dressing of olive oil, balsamic & a squeeze of honey

Happy Tuesday.

  5. YUM! love your recipes! You are sooo domestic, I need to jump on that train, haha! We finally got back last night at 2am, and it feels great. After being spoiled and getting to spend 3 weeks together 24/7 I was so sad to leave Kev this morning when we went to work, boo! But we had a fantastic time, and it looks like Thailand was TOO good to you sweets! LOVE YA:)

  8. Yes, recipe for the fish please! Sounds like a perfect salad (I may or may not have just had a probably-too-in-depth conversation about "the love of goat cheese" with a coworker the other day, haha)!

  9. Umm yum! Put balsamic and goat cheese on anything and I'll eat it. For reals. And I wanna catch a fish! Can you believe I've NEVER been fishing?...which is like blasphemy considering I grew up in NC and lived by the beach for a few years. Anywho, I want the fish recipe, whether I catch my own dinner or not! :)

  12. I just came on over from Busy Girl's blog and I'm already hooked. I too believe that fish tastes better when you catch it yourself! We catch tuna all the time, but I've never breaded it, we always sear it. Please post the recipe you used, I'm always looking for new fish recipes!
