ReplyDeleteI just love all the colours in this post. Here in South Africa we don't have so many trees that change colour, the leaves just fall off and die. Boring compared to the magic you were able to witness.

ReplyDeleteKyoto was by far my favorite city we visited when we were in Japan. Too bad it wasn't in the fall though, those pictures are gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteMy husband loved Okinawa when he was stationed there, and talks fondly about Kyoto. I hope one day he gets stationed back in Asia so I can join in on the fun!

ReplyDeleteI was directed to this blog from Megan over at Across the Pond. I live in Japan now too (between Kyoto and Tokyo) and am also from Virginia (weird, I know)-
Anyway, Kyoto is without a doubt one of my favorite cities in the world! Eating outside at one of the restaurants along the Kamogawa... so beautiful!
