In a Sea of Sunflowers

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Oh heyy. Just me being my usual ham self in a sunflower field.

Okinawa loves it's flower festivals! This week is sunflower, cosmos, and cherry blossoms,
which we're headed up north to see later this week.
All the flower festivals are our kind reminder that Easter and Spring are right around the corner.
So excited already. Easter is my absolute favorite holiday of the year.

Happy {hopefully sunny and warm?} Wednesday to you!

ps. Have I ever told you how I fit in in the Japanese culture?
They take photos as much as I do, which is like pathologically.
They even pull crazy maneuvers in the car to get over on the side of the road for a shot, making my husband shake his head in bewilderment. MFEO (;

  13. I think I'd like to live in Japan, just for that reason alone. I wouldn't be looked upon as weird for always wanting to get my camera out.

    Love the one of you ducking behind the family. haha

  21. Oooh, sunflower fields -- love them! We have a beautiful one on a nature preserve about an hour from my house, and I just had to roadtrip up there with my photographer fiance and parents last summer. It's amazing to be surrounded by so many beautiful flowers!

    Can't WAIT to see your cherry blossom photos -- just a month and a half or so to go until our trees in Washington, D.C., are in bloom! My favorite time of year! :)

  23. What type of man or women does continue any images class? The Αθήνα φωτογράφος γάμου response cannot be a straightforward a single as people are not necessarily straightforward.
