I cannot begin to say how much I love flowers. And how much I love having them in our home! Cam gave me a gorgeous bouquet of roses for Valentine's {he knows full well how crazy I go for flowers.. just wait til peony season!} that I just took apart and made into 4 small bouquets, using mason jars. Now they're on our coffee table, my nightstand {smelling so good} and a shelf in our room. It's amazing how flowers can brighten up a room and make you love & appreciate your home that much more.
They're so much fun to play with too... a little bouquet using banana leaves from my neighbor, leftover lemon slices from lemon water, and the yummiest smelling stock flower:
Happy almost Friday/weekend!

I know what you mean, fresh flowers really can do wonders. They look so pretty arranged in jars.
ReplyDeleteFresh flowers without a doubt make a room feel fancy and romantic
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Fresh flowers always make me feel like everything is more put together even if nothing else changes in the room!
ReplyDeleteI love fresh cut flowers. I recently got gifted some at church and it just brightened up our house so much. I really wish I had a nearby flower market. ;)

Agree - I have started to get a bouquet or two at the grocery store every week and spend about 30 minutes arranging in various jars and vases to put around the house. They make me so happy! Tulips are currently my favey and are making me wish the weather felt more like spring! Love the banana leaves and lemons idea! I bought some key limes (the tiny ones) and had extra and added them to a big glass jar with a candle inside for a fun centerpiece - seems like that's right up your tropical alley :)
ReplyDeletemiss your face!

Flowers make such a difference don't they!!! They can take a room from being 'ordinary' to a place of calm and relaxation!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos always make me smile =) So very lovely!!
Why has it never occurred to me to break up the bouquet to make a bunch of small ones?! Such a brilliant idea so they can be enjoyed all around.
ReplyDeleteI must now go drop hints to my love to get me flowers so I can do just this!!
