Springtime in Yomitan

Cam and I can’t thank you all enough for the congratulations, sharing in our excitement and especially the prayers. We can feel them! Thank you for loving on us. We are so thankful for you.

PS: The rows of lettuce are daily farmed by another neighbor not pictured… who is in his nineties! This island is truly special.

so beautiful! I'm just so excited for your growing baby! For me, being pregnant was such a joyous time(even with lots of nausea early on) I hope you begin to feel better soon ๐Ÿ™‚ I was wondering, is there a different diet pregnant women follow in Oki? I know you normally eat a lot of fresh fish so I was just wondering.

Those home grown tomatoes.. ugh, I may covet them just a little bit. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Enjoy every bite. Your neighbors look like such a treat to be around. 90 and still farming his land? I love that!

Lovely flowers! My Bf has always wanted to visit Japan, but I`ve always been a bit hesitant, but after reading and looking at some of the beautiful pictures of Japan, I might actually want to visit as well. Just one thing I`m wondering about. When it comes to communication and language, is it possible to get around with English and body language? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I just had to ask, since you`re an American living there.
