Scenes From Prague

A Daddy and his little girl on the Charles Bridge

And four toddlers under four plus a newborn!

Prague looks and feels like a fairytale!! With about a million tourists walking through it’s pages. Our kids’ favorite part of the day came in the form of a warm, cinnamon Trdelnik pastry, playing inside Hamleys – the biggest toy store in Europe, and eating lunch at Vytopna where our food and drinks were served via model trains. Good food and entertainment for the kiddos all in one!

This is Wenceslas Square where Soviets sent tanks during the Prague Spring in 1968, and later in 1989 where hundreds of thousands gathered to protest communism, in what became known as the Velvet Revolution. It led to the fall of 41 years of communist rule.

Thank you so much to our friends the Sullivans (fellow Olmsted family) for opening their beautiful home and kitchen to us and generously showing us their city! We love you guys!
