baby marshall Life pregnancy

18 Weeks at Zakimi Castle Ruins

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. {Romans 15:13}

I was reading this verse tonight and thinking about God’s undeserved goodness and how it drives out fear. I am so grateful we get to live here! And I get to be pregnant here. It’s part of the reason my baby bump photos are being taken all over the island.  I am thankful I got to see my husband’s handsome face yesterday over skype for the first time in weeks. He was the highlight of my whole day. I miss you so, so much, sweet. I am so thankful for this precious life growing inside of my belly. Pregnancy is surreal, even more so with Cam not here, but I only picture it getting more mind-blowing as we get closer and closer to meeting this little person. I have so much hope for he or she, for Cam’s protection, and for the future ahead together.

I hope you’re all doing incredibly well, and are also filled with hope today.

    I needed this post today. Despite my best efforts, I've allowed myself to be overcome by fears, worries and stress that diminish my quality of life and make me question my faith. Thank you for sharing such a meaningful verse – and you look just beautiful!

    Amanda – I thought I read in a post or something before that you use the Samsung NX1000.. Is that right or am I thinking of something else?

    You look gorgeous. Prayer for you while Cam is deployed. I can't imagine how hard it is to have him gone while you're pregnant. Prayers are with you both, but I truly admire your faith during this time apart.
