37 Weeks {38 Tomorrow!} at Cape Zanpa

Tomorrow marks two weeks until my due date! 
It’s hard to believe we’re already at {or nearing} the end. This pregnancy has quite literally flown by, and ready or not, our son could make his entrance any day now. I have absolutely loved being pregnant {what an amazing privilege and gift!!}, but truth be told, now that he’s made it to 38 weeks, I am getting ready for pregnancy to be over. But, that isn’t up to me. It’s up to God’s timing who is preparing every single little detail of our babe. Reading the verses, “For You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my Mother’s womb,”  and “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be,” takes on much more significance in my heart being pregnant — knowing our baby boy is only seen right now by the God of the Universe ! He’s in His hands, and this is their time. What an incredible comfort and joy to try and wrap my mind around.
So, now that I’m all done cleaning and organizing {and feeling the need to re-organize and clean at 3am, haha!}, have washed all of his adorable little clothes and put them away, the car seat is in, our hospital bag packed… I’m going to try to stop my nesting shinanagins and do what’s most important. Hang out with my cute husband, try to rest while I still can, and be in the Word. 
Aaand… turn up the music and dance in the living room.

    Congrats – I've been following along (quite literally – I'm just about 34 weeks) in your journey and totally agree, it has flown by. I admire your ability to already be done organizing and getting ready. Not having to worry about what's not done will make his arrival so much sweeter!

      Congratulations, Susie!! I hope you have a great rest of your pregnancy. I was really stressed about not having everything done and now feel SO much better. You'll get it all done! (: Especially if you wake up at 3am most nights to do more like I did… ha.

      I found the dress online clearance from Asos. It was back in June so I don't see it anymore, but they have so many lovely things and great sales!

      Hi Linda.. my parents are flying out less than one week from my due date and are going to help us out for the first few weeks. I haven't seen them in two years !!!! so we are really really excited.

      This one is from Asos – I got it on clearance back in June and don't see it on their site anymore… but that store, what a gem. I find almost everything I wear there!

    Ahh… I am so excited for you! I check your blog almost daily to see if baby boy Marshall is here yet. Being a mom is such a blessing. Try and enjoy every minute of it.. labour and all. It is such a humbling experience! Praying for you guys.
