Okinawa Sunflower Festival

The season of flower festivals has begun! I love love love love love flowers and how much Okinawa celebrates them. Last year at the sunflower festival, I was a few weeks pregnant. This year, I got to wander through the fields with John Shea who is totally fascinated by colors, the outdoors, people, everything. Each year there's groups of elderly and handicapped locals that come and sit off to the side in the shade as people wander by. John Shea at 4 1/2 Months

Our baby is changing and growing before our eyes. Literally... He's already in 6-12 month clothing. No wonder he's not sleeping at all during the night and instead is up feasting! If you've wondered why my blogging has been so sparse, or how we're really doing, there you have it.  Nothing new to any parent, I'm sure :) Cam and I badly needed a break, a date, just the two of us, and thanks to Ashley, we got a few hours on Saturday. It was ... continue reading...
