This weekend, something amazing happened.  Mere stopped by saying she had a "surprise" for us. For the past few months, she'd been collecting packages for us through her mail box. She had thee sweetest video from Sarah, Em, Ahn, Maddie, Nicole Stud, Megs, Michaela, Candice & Nicole, that Sarah put together... and a huge bag of packages from them along with Anna, Lauren, Megan, and Sophs, of classic children's books !! 36 Weeks on the Yomitan Bluffs

We got to see our baby today ! Because of deployment, Cam hasn't been able to see an ultrasound since our very first appointment when I was 12 weeks, so today was the perfect early birthday present for him.  I'm never quite sure what body part we're looking at, but hearing that beautiful, strong heartbeat and knowing he's growing as he should makes my heart so happy. A Beautiful Cameron-Made Baby Cradle

That amazing and talented man I'm married to built yet another beautiful piece of furniture... this time for our precious babe. I had originally wanted an antique-looking cradle I'd found on amazon, but like most things, it was too big to ship out here. Simultaneously, I found this moses basket from a yard sale in perfect condition for $10 and snagged it. Green Apple, Cheddar, Prosciutto Panini with Spinach and Raspberry Vinaigrette

Oh, this simple, irresistible panini. Made with some of the most complimentary ingredients: fresh spinach, avocado, red onion, met by crisp granny smith apples, oozing sharp cheddar cheese, salty prosciutto and drizzled in a raspberry vinaigrette.  For those looking for another simple summertime meal, this is truly hard to beat, especially paired with fresh fruit.
