34 Weeks With My Love.

We're just a little over two weeks away from our son being full term !!  I looked at Cam the other night and told him, "I'm terrified to have children...  just so you know!" and we burst out laughing. There's a bit of a healthy fear in both of us but nothing outweighs how utterly thankful and excited we are that it's almost time to meet our son. It's palpable in the air at our house.  His Size: Our baby boy is anywhere from 16.5 - 18.5 inches long and 4.5 - 6 lbs at ... continue reading...

Formaggio Frutta Insalata Lemon Life Summer Tomatoes

Gorgonzola, Peach, Arugula Salad with Summer Fruit Vinaigrette {with or without steak!}

Cam and I were reminded {while devouring!} this dinner that gorgonzola and peaches compliment each other perfectly. Also, that the peppery taste of arugula is so yummy with grilled steak. Grilled steak on top is optional, of course... but highly, highly ... continue reading...

2 Years on Okinawa!

{Last July 2012}: Cam gave our friends a sailing lesson and bought me a turquoise bike named Chardonnay! We biked a ton together, spent most weekends together or with friends at the beach or scuba diving... hiked Hiji Falls and explored Okinawa's castles. Our sweet neighbor gave us a huge basket of fresh okra and I went to an amazing Japanese tea ceremony. {August}: Lots of scuba diving and dinners on our back patio with friends. I made focaccia bread and we had a picnic on the ... continue reading...

32 Weeks at the Kadena Marina

 8 months pregnant!! We've been thinking outloud more and more about what our little boy could be like and pray for certain things each day for him. I love hearing my husband's hopes for him.  Some of the biggest? That he'll be so strong, love Jesus above all, be sweet, gentle, and love and adore his future wife. That he'll learn how to treat women with respect the way Christ did and love the way He does. A heart like that inside of an incredibly strong man sounds verrryy familiar ... continue reading...
