Our Family’s 2017 Halloween Costume

Just two boys out trying to catch some abnormally large Carolina fireflies…

Well, this costume idea wasn’t exactly my best work but Gracie was SO excited to be a firefly, and she and Georgia were about the cutest things alive in those matching wings and lights on their bums! Our whole family getting the flu and pink eye for me in both eyes during the two weeks leading up to halloween kiind of hindered my abilities to give my full attention to our costumes this year! Don’t worry, I’ve already brewed up our idea for next year 😉

It was a fun night trick-or-treating in the Coopers’ and Hardings’ neighborhood together, and a truck of firefighters pulling over to hand out candy and let John Shea hop on was the cherry on top!  I hope you all had a great night!!

    Hi Amanda, it feels like forever since I last stopped by. The blog looks so different. Last I remember you were living in Japan. I know, it’s been a long time! I stopped blogging a few years back to focus on work and life, but I’ve always missed blogging, so I knew I’d be back at some point. I am glad to see you are still up and running. Many of the old blogs I loved have been closed. I guess I wasn’t the only one who needed a break. I am thrilled to be back and will definitely be visiting again pretty soon. 🙂

    PS: Your family costumes are too cute! Sorry about the pink eye though.
