Life Okinawa

a french bakery

{in okinawa}
{now you’re speaking my language!!}
a gem of a find!
the baguette we got is sooo delicious it actually tastes french.
got cam his fave pain au chocolat that he lived for when we were in spain & france (i’m turning him into a chocolate lover & so proud of it)
and got my friend meringues.
one of the things i daily ate when i lived in italia.. so fresh & healthy & delicious.
if it weren’t for the fact that we keep our salt in a seashell & the “french” baker was actually japanese and spoke neither french nor english, i’d almost think we were in europe today.

    Hahah I laughed at Erins comment!! When you move away from having a panera, you absolutely miss it!! Living in the swamp, there are no bakeries around here except in a grocery store ๐Ÿ™

    But that does look delish!! I'm slowly converting my hubby to like chocolate more too!

    It's amazing how a well baked loaf or some fresh ingredients can transport you across continents isn't it!

    It looks great and so cute! The "French" baker is adorable! You must be so happy you found it. Like on the day I found a Brazilian market in San Francisco. Heaven.

    And now I want French bread. YUM!
