Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Whew, I apologize for not getting a post up sooner! But it’s for good reason. We found a house!!!! I will share much more about it in future posts since we are still waiting to close, but Lord willing, in two more weeks, we will have a home here and we are so thankful!  It’s been a long PCS season for our family and we are very excited to finally get settled.

Over the past two weeks inbetween getting home things done… I took the babies to go spend the day with Gramppio (this is a lake near my parents’ home) and then we got to have Nana & Pops (Cam’s parents) come visit for ten days. Nana brought a suitcase of children’s books, which is basically the equivalent of a suitcase of milk chocolate to Gracie. She stole Nana every single day for literally hours of reading and I’m so happy they got that time together. We spent a day in historic Beaufort, an adorable little town on the coast about an hour and a half north of us. We picked up a beautiful mantel that came out of one of Beaufort’s houses from the early 1800’s that’s going to go in our home! I’ll share photos of it soon, but for now, here are some more snapshots from Raleigh & Beaufort…

Beaufort Grocery Co. was a reeally yummy lunch. Thank you, Nana & Pops! We miss you both already.

Happy start of Thanksgiving week!

PS. This book is our children’s favorite Thanksgiving book. I find myself singing the lines by heart to myself throughout the day since Gracie asks to read it so often…
