I Love Bloggers. {And Blogging}

This weekend, something amazing happened.
Mere stopped by saying she had a “surprise” for us.
For the past few months, she’d been collecting packages for us through her mail box.
She had thee sweetest video from Sarah, Em, Ahn, Maddie, Nicole Stud, Megs, Michaela, Candice & Nicole, that Sarah put together… and a huge bag of packages from them along with Anna, Lauren, Megan, and Sophs,
of classic children’s books !!

All of our favorites. We had so much fun opening them and said with each one, “Yes! I loved reading this as a little kid!!” {Except we’d never read this gem from the one and only Ahn — we just died laughing} Now we’ll get to read these precious stories to our own little boy.

{Peter Rabbit from my soul sista Sadie}

I grew up with Ahn and Mads, who are lifetime best friends {they’ll never be able to get rid of me}, but I haven’t gotten to meet the other women in person yet. I love them like I have, and after two years of reading their blogs and emailing,  feel like I have. {Can’t wait for that day!} Out of their generosity and thoughtfulness they totally showered us and made us feel so loved and supported, despite all of the distance.
We were both totally blown away.
After getting to know these amazing girls, I shouldn’t be surprised, but I couldn’t help but cry happy tears from their kindness.
If you want to know why I love blogging, this is one of the biggest reasons.
In a way, it’s like modern day pen pals. It spans distance and creates friendships.
I love this community that is uplifting, encouraging, inspiring, present and real.
I can’t thank you girls enough. You blessed us more than I can express!

    How sweet! And yes, those are all fun books! I saw Ahn's book at the bookstore one time and died of laughing. I don't think I'd read it to a kid, but it's a good one to read on your own after a busy day of cleaning, cooking, changing diapers, etc. haha.

    he held out till about 2 minutes after the second take. #motherhoodforthewin
