Japan Life

Mount Fuji, Japan

I just got home from seeing my love!! Ahh my heart is so happy. We both feel refreshed after spending the weekend together, and in such a beautiful {chilllly} place. We’re so, so thankful. Everywhere you go, you can’t look up without staring straight at massive Mount Fuji. It takes up the entire skyline. We went for a hike together and walked through the surrounding quiet, peaceful forest to an onsen. The outdoor natural hot spring pools run from water underneath Mount Fuji, and your skin and hair are ridiculously soft after spending an hour in them. Haha, it is a little awkward at first having to walk buck naked outside infront of about 20 other women {Cam was on the mens’ side of course}, being stared at as the only American. But.. when in Rome. (:

I’m going back to being glued to the election, but just wanted to say hi and I hope that you’ve all been doing wonderfully since last week! I’m nervous and so excited… and so proud to be an American, and so very grateful to all of our veterans and active duty military for protecting our right to vote. Happy Election Day.

Those photos are amazing. I still hope for the chance to live there someday. My Air Force hubby has already been stationed there, but I am hoping for a round two.
