My Winter Hat

{Trying on my new winter hat for our upcoming trip to snowy Hokkaido!}
Would you ever guess that this sweet, darling little boy was the same that shot poop at 4am last night all over his Daddy, himself, the walls, his rug.. basically his whole nursery.. not once, not twice, but three times!? 
Poopy everywhere. 
That’s how I found these two in the middle of the night. 
Baby John sat quietly in his crib while his Dad was cleaning everything up,
with the biggest smile he’s had yet. 
Ha. 
We’re learning that a big part of having a newborn is laughing.
I mean.. what else can you do but crack up!?

    Oh goodness. I am afraid I totally laughed out loud (I am sure I will get what's coming to me when the time comes)! He is so serious here (maybe reflecting on his next blowout!)

    The projectile pooping is such a blast…but my husband cracks up remembering it. His first diaper changing experience just happened to be a fun one like that, but not as intense as yours. And, that hat is so cute and so is the ribbed onesie! Love it all.

    Sooo funny and so true. A smiliar thing happened to me at my parents' beach house. There we were singing and sweetly coo-cooing away during a diaper change and next thing I knew *bam* *poop everywhere*! I called to my dad for some towels and, of course, the moment that my head was turned…bam!…poop everywhere again. It was quite a sight! My family had a good laugh about it. I love hearing that you and Cam are finding joy and laughter in it all. And that hat is awesome. Oh, he is quite a looker, that baby John Sea 😉
