Neighborhood Fish Market

{battered & fried fish. ohh. yes.}
Our favorite way to get to the market? The scoot.

{Camilyn Beth Swagg all the way in Japan!}
I’ve probably already said this about 100 times on here, but fishing is a major industry on this island. Just about every one of our neighbors is a fisherman.. and you can get fresh fish any day of the week. Hooray.
For us, if it’s not husband-caught or eating out, we go up the road to our neighborhood port and buy the catch of the day.
So, we eat a lot of fish.
Guess what I made for din tonight? (:

    One of my favorite things I did in Japan was go to the morning tokyo fish market, so much seafood everywhere! A little jealous you can go whenever you want ๐Ÿ˜‰

    You look adorable on that scooter ๐Ÿ™‚

    Oh gracious, I would be up a creek… I have never really enjoyed fish. Maybe the fresh kind where people know how to cook it really well would be better?? I guess all the pretty views would make up for my starvation.

    I love fish so much. I guess that's because my dad used to say when I was a kid that eating fish makes you smarter haha. Fishing is big in Rio too! I wish seafood was cheaper around here! ๐Ÿ™

    What a great way to spend the day! Fresh seafood is the best… I'm originally from California and miss the fresh and abundant supply of fish. Now I live in the Netherlands and it's a much more meat and potatoes kind of culture…
