Secret Beach

I hope you all had a great weekend. You’d never guess it from these photos on Saturday, but we’re being hit by a typhoon right now. It’s thankfully almost over, but so far it’s meant that Cam had to stay home from work today, and I’m about to go back to reading my book curled up next to him. Love you, typhoon!
Happy Monday.

Whenever I look at your pictures, I wish and wish and wish that some day my husband would get stationed in Japan. He's done a few dets to Kadena and always talks about how much fun it is. I have never been and I feel like I could definitely enjoy living there for a few years. I don't think it would happen just because of his career goals and the fact we have 3 dogs but it's nice to dream ๐Ÿ™‚

what a dream of a place! Growing up in Puerto Rico my sisters and I would have so much fun during hurricane season… candles all over the house, sleeping in mom and dad's bed, going up to the river to take a bath (we felt we were in a survivor movie and we loved it! lol), etc.

Hope you guys are safe!!! Yay for hubbies staying home from work though :-)! What a beautiful beach these pics are from. I love the contrast of the green, blue, and sand. So beautiful! Oh, and I can't remember, did I ever give you our Arugula pizza report??? I thought about it, but can't remember if I ever dropped you a line. Well, if not, we LOVED it!!! And you were right…especially good with cantaloupe! Also tries a variation on another one of your recipes this week: the pasta w/ brie, tomatoes, garlic…. So delish. Keep 'em comin' girl! Hope your week is off to a great start…
