Some Love For You Today

… from our silly, sweet John Shea. Cam and I are eating up every single day with our baby boy.
We think we are down to only 3 months left living in Japan? Maybe less? We haven’t heard yet..
So we’re flying up to Tokyo this weekend for our last hurrah!
Happy Valentine’s. Love you all!

Nothing gets me more than baby gums. Swoon.

It's weird to imagine you living somewhere else. I've been a follower from afar for almost 2 years around this blog, and it has really helped me to be more open to living overseas (particularly somewhere that isn't Europe). We find out the end of this month where we'll be headed next month, and I feel confident and a bit scared to have discussed with my husband the the possibility and preference of Kadena.

Ah it's such a wonderful place. If you do end up living here, I would highly recommend trying to live off base, and if you're not able to, to get off base as much as possible. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or just need some encouragement on life here! We're going to be so sad to leave.

    • Kaysie says

      February 26, 2014 at 9:35 pm

In 2 days (EEP!) I will know for sure, and you can be you'll hear from me if it is so. I was going to ask about on/off base there, but I'll wait until I know for sure!

It feels weird to me too, as a reader, that you're leaving, because I've only "known" you there. Any idea where you'll be next?

Alas, military politics have swooped up and taken Oki away as quick as it came. We'll be headed to Langley, but I would still love to talk to you about work/your career/do you freelance?
