Sun & Salt Water

{the gorgeous beach we snorkeled on all day Sunday}
The water was gloriously warm on Sunday, crystal clear and full of the most beautiful, vibrant fishies and corral inlets.  Summer, heat, sunshine, warm sea, living in bathing suits, breezy evenings & spring-summer flowers are here!!  Just the way I like it. It’s my favorite favorite season. Especially on Oki.

One of the special things about summer when we lived in D.C. — line dancing. Ohhh yes. You cross the Virginia line and you can find yourself in an entirely different world from politics. My cowgirl boots are starting to get dusty sitting forlorn in the closet.. I think it’s about time Cam takes me to the one and only country line dancing bar on island {where there’s Americans & Southerners there’s a western bar.. even in Japan!} and spin me around some two-step.   Cam my love?

    Line dancing? I love line dancing! Well, I love all dancing, but social dancing is an American pastime that just can't be beat. I say go and tell us all about it!

    I loooooove the pic of you with your sporty shades and the sun shining over your face. It's like an advertisement for freaking LIFE! ๐Ÿ™‚ Ahh yes, you know you miss Nick's Night Club and the 80 year old dancing men who jumped at the chance to twirl your cute little self around for a 2-step! Oh and you should OBVIOUSLY be listening to Dirt Road Anthem while you get ready… MISS YOU! Wish we could join you – you know Timmy bear wears his boots to church every week right?? love, Lanneybear
