Just another day in Japanese paradise. (:
We’ve been really busy this week sponsoring a couple who just arrived on island. The best part {along with getting to know them} has been showing them around the island & introducing them to the culture. Cam and I took them on Sunday to one of our neighborhood’s best ramen shops where you sit on the traditional tatami mat floor to eat delicious ramen & ginger pork + rice. We also showed them some of our favorite spots on both sides of the island. We never fail to be totally amazed by how stunning Oki can be. I’m like a broken record! “So beautiful.” “So stunning.” But it’s true! I can never seem to say enough good things about Japan.

I always look forward to exploring this gorgeous island! It seems that every place you go, there is something that catches your eye and makes you step back and just enjoy the view. Or like me, i just tell my husband its so pretty! lol I've never seen the ocean sparkle so much! I love it here!
