Thankful // Palm Sunday Weekend on Okinawa

This weekend I am thankful for…

the friendliest Okinawans {especially our adorable grandma neighbors who pat my belly}

gorgeous weather on Saturday and an afternoon with Ash on the beach

Yomitan hand-blown glass sold on the side of the road ~ isn’t it so pretty?

Breakfast and stopping off at a nearby field of wild sunflowers with McKenzie Saturday morning.

My love just deployed for the next few months {why I didn’t post last week} but we are so incredibly thankful that we got more time together before he left than we were originally supposed to. God is so good! Please keep him and all the other Marines in your prayers. Cam, love you, love you, love you.

I am so grateful for close friends basically moving in. And slumber parties every night.

And most of all, for Palm Sunday. For my Lord and Savior riding in humbly on a donkey, to begin Passion Week.

    Is that the glass place on rt 12?? Wasn't he just the nicest guy ever? He gave us a "buy 2, get 4 free special" ha ha! Anyway, it's beautiful. Love Okinawa ๐Ÿ™‚

    Gorgeous, gorgeous photos as always! That sunflower picture is stunning! I'm sorry your husband is away for a few months. I know it's still several months away, but do you guys think he'll be there for the birth?

    These photos are beautiful (as always) Amanda! Sending prayers to you while Cam is gone, I know that when my husband (also Cam!) has to go out of town, it's so hard so I can't even imagine how rough a deployment has to be and I'm so impressed by what a strong, positive person you are! Have a wonderful week! xo

    Praying for you and Cam while he is deployed! Having them gone is never easy, especially when it is for so long! My husband is getting ready to deploy for a year in June and I am dreading it. It's wonderful that you have such great friends to be there with you through your deployment though! Hoping this deployment goes quickly and easily for you three ๐Ÿ™‚

    I love that I've been reading McKenzie's blog and your blog for a long time, but didn't know that you two know each other! (obviously!) I think that's so cool! You both seem like genuinely sweet, amazing ladies and I'll be praying for you during the deployment of your husband!
