The Fourth of July on Okinawa

Four day weekend with my favorite person. And almost 8 months of our baby!
sweet Stelly bug and Ash
Ha. Gotta love that bandana. 100% American Matt & Kristen.
Merebear & Hunter
We celebrated all day on base with close friends at one of the big festivals going on, open to both Americans and local Okinawans. I think it says a lot that we share in each others holidays and celebrations! Cam and I also soaked up the rest of the long weekend together.. snorkeling into Cape Maeda’s gorgeous blue grotto.. grilling yummy dinners… working on our little man’s nursery {I should hopefully have something to show you next week!}… and some good nap/rest/snuggle time too.
We’re so grateful for our freedom and to be surrounded by those who sacrificially protect it on a daily basis. Hope you all had a great Independence Day!!
